Future Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has revealed how the thought of his last game for current side Santos caused him to “vomit with anxiety”.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The young Brazilian agreed to join Madrid last summer but has spent the entirety of this season with Santos in preparation for his move this year.<\/p>\n

    Discussions between the two clubs recently took place to decide when Rodrygo would officially make the move to Spain, a thought that left the striker filled with dread.<\/p>\n

    It has been confirmed that the 18-year-old will get the chance to play one last game for Santos next month before packing his bags for Spain.<\/p>\n

    Speaking to reporters about his impending move to the La Liga giants this summer, Rodrygo admitted the thought of playing his last game for Santos left him “throwing up with anxiety”.<\/p>\n

    Rodrygo said<\/a>:\u00a0“I was with the squad and I even felt bad at night, I was vomiting, with a lot of inflammation in the throat.<\/p>\n

    “I think I was anxious to know if I was going to continue here or not.<\/p>\n

    “Thank God everything went well and my farewell remains on the 12th (June).<\/p>\n

    “Yes [it is good to stay until then], not only for the Santos fans, for me too, because my will was to stay until 12 June and play the ‘Clasico’ against Corinthians at the Vila (Santos Stadium) and I’m going to stay.”<\/p>\n
