Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted the club will be judged on whether they start Harry Kane against Liverpool in the Champions League final.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The England captain has been absent from football since picking up ankle ligament damage against Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals in April.<\/p>\n

  2. The 25-year-old has been absent since but has 24 goals in 39 appearances across all competitions this season.<\/li>\n

    Speaking to reporters<\/a> about whether Kane will be back to fitness in time for the Champions League final on Saturday, Pochettino revealed he and his staff are feeling positive about Kane’s chances of participating.<\/p>\n

    However, he refused to confirm whether Kane would be included in the starting eleven or start from the bench but did admit whichever decision he makes, he will be judged one way or another.<\/p>\n

    Pochettino said:\u00a0\u201cWe are happy.<\/p>\n

    \u201cWhether to start him is a point we\u2019re thinking about a lot. It is a decision that, one way or the other, will be judged after the game. If we win: fantastic decision. If we lose: shit decision, and you are going to kill me.<\/p>\n

    \u201cWe are working that everyone will be available to play and, at the moment, Harry is on course. Harry, D\u00e1vinson, Harry Winks and Jan \u2013 the evolution today is very good. And then it\u2019s going to be our decision to see if they will be available from the beginning.\u201d<\/p>\n
