Everton have announced the signing of Danish goalkeeper Jonas Lossl, who will join the club on a free transfer on July 1.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 30-year-old was a part of the Huddersfield Town side that were relegated from the Premier League last season but is expected to serve as competitive back-up to England international Jordan Pickford.<\/p>\n

  1. Jonas Lossl will join Everton on a free transfer on July 1.<\/li>\n
  2. The Danish stopper made 60 appearances in two seasons for Huddersfield Town.<\/li>\n
  3. However, he couldn’t avoid relegation with the Terriers last season.<\/li>\n
  4. But he did manage two assists against Man Utd, with no player providing more against the Red Devils since the start of 2017\/18.<\/li>\n
  5. This makes him one of just two goalkeepers to do provide two assists last term, alongside Ederson.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Lossl was also one of just two goalkeepers, alongside Man City’s Ederson, to provide two Premier League assists last season, both of which came against Manchester United.<\/p>\n

    Everton announced the news with a statement on their official website<\/a> which read: “Goalkeeper Jonas L\u00f6ssl will join Everton on 1 July, signing a three-year contract until the end of June 2022.<\/p>\n

    “The 30-year-old Denmark international has penned a pre-contract agreement with the Blues and will move to the Club when his deal with Huddersfield Town expires at the end of next month.<\/p>\n
