Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez has attracted interest from “several teams” but the Mexican is happy at the Midlands outfit, according to his father.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 28-year-old has enjoyed a successful season under Nuno Esp\u00edrito Santo whose side finished seventh in the Premier League, qualifying for the Europa League, and reached the FA Cup semi-final.<\/p>\n

    Speaking to reporters<\/a> about his son’s impending professional future, Jimenez’s father –\u00a0Ra\u00fal Jim\u00e9nez Vega – discussed the options available for his son.<\/p>\n

    Although he confirmed interest from other clubs for his son’s talents, he assured Wolves fans that the Mexican international has every intention to remain with the club “he bet on” last summer.<\/p>\n

    He said:\u00a0“There are several teams, even from other countries that are interested, but Ra\u00fal is fine.<\/p>\n

    “He is comfortable, it is due to Wolverhampton and we will be there, he bet on this proposal and fortunately it was the best.”<\/p>\n
