Bournemouth have announced the signing of Lloyd Kelly from Bristol City, making him the Premier League’s first summer signing of 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 20-year-old left-back joins for a reported \u00a313m and has subsequently penned a long-term contract at the Vitality Stadium.<\/p>\n

    Kelly’s announcement comes on the back off the England U21 international being heavily associated<\/a> with a move to Champions League finalist Liverpool.<\/p>\n

    In the end, Bournemouth usurped both the Reds and Arsenal for his signature and the young English defender is pleased with his transfer.<\/p>\n

    “It’s a fantastic club. The move has come around quite quickly, but I’m happy to be here and can’t wait to start playing,” he told the club’s official website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
