Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has admitted that he is “angered” by people who doubt their ability to overturn their Champions League fortunes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Reds face Barcelona on Tuesday evening in the Champions League semi-finals, having lost last week’s first leg 3-0.<\/p>\n

    Croatia defender Lovren has dismissed suggestions that Liverpool will not be able to overturn a three-goal deficit and is determined to secure a second successive final appearance.<\/p>\n

    Speaking to reporters<\/a>, the World Cup finalist said the doubt fuels his “anger” and makes him more “hungry” to succeed at Anfield and ensure his side are in the final in Madrid.<\/p>\n

    He said: “It makes me more angry. Angry and hungry to show them we are capable of doing something special at Anfield.<\/p>\n

    “We have big players and big players should show in big games and I think this is one of those games on Tuesday so I expect one of the biggest games at Anfield.<\/p>\n

    “This is why we are Liverpool. This is why we are a unique club. When people say to us ‘They are already done. They will not come through’, we always show the balls to produce the biggest comebacks.<\/p>\n
