Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic will not be at the club much longer, according to former England midfielder Owen Hargreaves.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jovic has enjoyed a good season for the Eagles with 26 goals in all competitions, helping them to fourth in the Bundesliga and a Europa League semi-final.<\/p>\n

    The Serbian international had initially joined Frankfurt on a two-year loan from Benfica in 2017 but made the move permanent in April. But despite this, Hargreaves doesn’t expect Jovic to stay at the club past the summer.<\/p>\n

    “He’s been absolutely magnificent,” Hargreaves told BT Sport.<\/p>\n

    “I think [Sebastien] Haller’s been a terrific player as well, they’re going to miss him and [Ante] Rebic.<\/p>\n

    “But this guy… He was on loan from Benfica, they’ve made that permanent but he won’t be at Frankfurt for much longer. This guy is just the perfect centre forward.”<\/p>\n

    Hargreaves then went on to compare Jovic to some of European football’s best strikers, including Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.<\/p>\n

    He added: “He reminds me a bit of Sergio Aguero and Radamel Falcao. Because in the box he is just a magnificent finisher, with his right foot, with his left foot, he virtually has the lot.<\/p>\n

    “He’s good in the air as well and he’s one of those players. He’s going to be at one of the biggest clubs in Europe come the summer because he’s just a lethal finisher.<\/p>\n

    “He hasn’t been as prolific of late, but he’s had a wonderful season, 25 goals in all competitions.”<\/p>\n

    Jovic’s performances has seen the forward linked with a move to the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, with the latter getting a taste of his ability in their Europa League semi-final first leg on Thursday.<\/p>\n

    Hoddle: Jovic has the signs of a top quality striker<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Hargreaves’ praise for Jovic was echoed by former Chelsea manager Glenn Hoddle, who hailed the calmness of the Bosnian forward.<\/p>\n

    Hoddle said: “What I like about him, is that he’s got what every good striker in the world has: he’s got a calmness about him. He doesn’t panic.<\/p>\n

    “He gets cooler when the chance becomes easier and bigger, and that’s the sign of a really top quality striker.”<\/p>\n
