Aaron Wan-Bissaka has confirmed he will still be a Crystal Palace player next season amid rumoured interest from Manchester United.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That interest is said to be from United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, while vice-chairman Ed Woodward would prefer to sign Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kieran Trippier, according to the Independent<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wan-Bissaka believes United’s reported interest highlights his performance level for Palace, where he will remain next season.<\/p>\n

“The situation just shows that my performances don\u2019t go unnoticed,\u201d the defender told the London Evening Standard<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I am with Crystal Palace at the moment. That is where my contract is and that is where I will be next season.<\/p>\n

“I have got three years left on my contract. It says I am going to be there, so that is all I can focus on now.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Independent claims there is a “vague structure” in place at United when it comes to signings which could see the Red Devils move for Trippier instead of Wan-Bissaka.<\/p>\n

One of the most interesting passages from the newspaper’s report cites a source who suggests Woodward would sign most of England’s World Cup squad if he could as result of the country’s success in Russia last summer.<\/p>\n

Such thinking ignores the fact that Trippier is 28 and has endured an inconsistent campaign with Spurs, while Wan-Bissaka has been terrific for Palace and, at just 21, has the potential to improve further.<\/p>\n

With Wan-Bissaka set to stay at Palace, though, it looks like Woodward is going to get his way.<\/p>\n

“I am with Crystal Palace at the moment. That is where my contract is and that is where I will be next season.”<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Speaking at Palace\u2019s end-of-season awards, Wan-Bissaka expressed his delight after winning Player of the Season, Players\u2019 Player of the Season and the PFA Community Champion Award.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cIt feels good. It makes me feel proud to come away with three [awards]. As I say, I didn\u2019t expect it but at the same time I am grateful to win all three.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously the dream was to perform well and stand out. To see that I have makes me feel proud, but at the same time it makes me hungrier for next season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to add goals and rack up more assists than I have this season. I will get that by getting forward, but obviously first I have got to think about defending.\u201d<\/p>\n
