Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has categorically ruled out a summer move for Jadon Sancho. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The 19-year-old has had a breakout season in the Bundesliga, providing more assists (14) and completing more dribbles (99) than any other player in the division as Dortmund go toe-to-toe with Bayern Munich for the title.<\/p>\n

    This form helped Sancho win his first senior call-up for England, with Gareth Southgate handing the former Man City youngster four caps so far.<\/p>\n

    Manchester United<\/a> and Real Madrid were among the European giants linked with a move for Sancho but Zorc has now issued a clear hands-off warning, insisting he is firmly in Dortmund’s plans for next season.<\/p>\n

    \u201cWe do not expect anything and we do not want anything, because he is in our plans. He will play for Borussia Dortmund next season. Nobody needs to get in touch.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Zorc has been busy recently, shutting down rumours of a potential transfer for Sancho and just last month stated: \u201cI’m far from putting a price tag on Jadon, but I will say that, even for the biggest club in the world, his transfer would be difficult right now.”<\/p>\n

    Virgil van Dijk won the PFA’s Player of the Year award recently having been involved in 19 clean sheets in the Premier League this season, while no player has managed to dribble past him during that time.<\/p>\n

    And while Sancho has admitted Van Dijk is ‘one of the world’s best defenders’, he has sent a tongue-in-cheek warning that he intends to beat him at this summer’s Uefa Nations League finals. England face the Netherlands in the semi-final, with the winner facing either Portugal or Switzerland in the inaugural final.<\/p>\n
