Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has been hailed as “the best in the Premier League” after he beat former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo’s goalscoring record.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hazard scored two fantastic goals against London rivals West Ham United on Monday evening as the Blues keep in the hunt for a top-four finish.<\/p>\n

  1. Eden Hazard scored in both halves of Chelsea’s 2-0 Premier League win over West Ham United.<\/li>\n
  2. The Belgian dribbled past the majority of the Hammers midfield and defence to calmly place his first effort past \u0141ukasz Fabia\u0144ski.<\/li>\n
  3. His second sealed the win and marked Hazard’s 85th goal in the Premier League.<\/li>\n
  4. Monday’s double saw Hazard beat the amount that former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo scored in England’s top division.<\/li>\n

    Hazard’s first goal had most viewers watching in awe as he danced around and through a crowded West Ham defence to put the west Londoners in the lead.<\/p>\n

    It was his 84th strike in the Premier League for Chelsea, matching the total Cristiano Ronaldo scored for Manchester United between 2003-2009.<\/p>\n

    He went one better late in the game, blasting past Fabianski to secure his side a vital three points and secure his place above Ronaldo in the Premier League goalscoring charts.<\/p>\n

    Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville spoke on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, admitting that Hazard’s first goal was something really special.<\/p>\n

    Neville said:\u00a0“The change of direction at that speed is the worst thing you can play against. To be fair, I don’t know of many players in the last 20-25 years who have got ability to do that.<\/p>\n

    “It is absolutely amazing that goal. Balance, speed, strength, everything. Composure at the end. Really, really special. An incredible goal, only a few players in the world could score that goal and we’ve got one of them in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

    “Hopefully we don’t lose him.”<\/p>\n

    Neville wasn’t the only person to marvel at the genius provided by Hazard, with a number of individuals offering the Belgian praise following his first-half strike.<\/p>\n
