Incoming Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has admitted he believes the left-sided role is his best position. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The USA international completed a \u00a358m-move to Stamford Bridge in January before being immediately loaned back to Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season, where he has been deployed more on the right.<\/p>\n

  2. The winger has mainly been restricted to right-sided and substitute roles this season.<\/li>\n
  3. USA manager Gregg Berhalter has fielded Pulisic in his more natural, left-wing position.<\/li>\n
  4. And Pulisic himself feels he is at his best when played on the left.<\/li>\n
  5. Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, meaning Pulisic could replace him on Chelsea’s left wing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Belgian star Eden Hazard currently occupies the left-wing role for the Blues but many are speculating that he will move to Real Madrid in the summer, with Pulisic possibly arriving as his replacement.<\/p>\n

    The 20-year-old is currently on international duty with Gregg Berhalter’s side and although he insists he’s happy to play anywhere, Pulisic admitted he prefers the left-sided role he enjoys with USMNT.<\/p>\n

    \u201cI think it\u2019s a really good position for me,\u201d he said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    \u201cObviously I don\u2019t mind where I play on the field, I just like to be in a good attacking areas where I can create and help the team score goals because that\u2019s where I feel I\u2019m at my best.”<\/p>\n

    This is only Berhalter’s second squad since becoming manager of USA, with Pulisic praising the former Columbus Crew boss’ attention to detail.<\/p>\n

    He added: \u201cI like the style that [Berhalter] has and I like that position a lot.<\/p>\n

    \u201c[Berhalter\u2019s] very focused on all the details of the game.<\/p>\n

    \u201cI\u2019ve been amazed the first few days with just how much information he\u2019s got across, and how he wants every guy to be on the same page and have a perfect understanding of how we want to go into the game.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Pulisic: I’m at the top of my game<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Pulisic has managed just five goals and three assists for Dortmund so far this season and although it would be easy to level the blame for that loss of form on his impending move, the winger insists the club and his teammates are happy for him.<\/p>\n

    The American also feels he is ‘at the top of his game’, despite making as many substitute appearances as he has started matches this season – 11.<\/p>\n

    “I feel very confident right now, I\u2019m feeling very good,” he added.<\/p>\n

    “I feel I\u2019m at the top of my game.<\/p>\n

    \u201cMy teammates are all professionals, They understand how this business works. I wanted to move and they\u2019re all very happy for me and the club is as well.<\/p>\n
