that Alexander-Arnold possesses and he should be a lock in your side, with his great attacking potential being coupled with Liverpool conceding well under a goal a game. The full-back is FPL&#8217;s highest-scoring defender so far this season, with 13 cleans sheets, two goals and 10 assists for the title challengers.<\/p>\n<h4>Thiago Silva (5.6M)<\/h4>\n<p><em>FPL points so far: 100pts<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Fixture(s): Burnley (A)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Thiago Silva appears to be evergreen, showing his class despite turning 37 this season. The Chelsea centre-back has racked up 100 points so far, one of just ten defenders to achieve that feat by Gameweek 27. Chelsea have conceded just 18 times this term and claimed nine clean sheets, showing the value in picking up Thiago Silva for the run-in.<\/p>\n<h4>Conor Coady (4.8M)<\/h4>\n<p><em>FPL points so far: 101pts<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Fixture(s): Crystal Palace (H), Watford (H)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Taking advantage of the Double Gameweeks should be at the front of your mind heading into the weekend and Wolves certainly look the most appealing side who feature twice this time around. Their defensive record is excellent and they come up against weaker opposition in Crystal Palace (11th in the league) and Watford (19th in the league), with both matches being played at Molineux.<\/p>\n<h4>Jo\u00e3o Cancelo (7.1M)<\/h4>\n<p><em>FPL points so far: 151pts<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Fixture(s): Man United (H)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cancelo rounds out a defence in which every player has scored at least 100 points so far this season. The reasons for his inclusion should be obvious too, with the Portuguese full-back taking 21 more shots than any other defender in the Premier League this season. He&#8217;s bound to add to his 14 clean sheets, too.<\/p>\n<h4>Mohamed Salah (13.1M)<\/h4>\n<p><em>FPL points so far: 209pts<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Fixture(s): West Ham (H)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Perhaps the most obvious choice here but there&#8217;s a reason for that! Salah is the top scorer in FPL this season, becoming the only man to break the 200-point barrier. As shown below, he takes an incredible amount of shots and his xG for the season is currently 18.11, six higher than any other player in the top flight. With eight goals and eight assists, you risk allowing rival managers to steal a march if you don&#8217;t include Bowen.<\/p>\n<h4>Bukayo Saka (6.5M)<\/h4>\n<p><em>FPL points so far: 110pts<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Fixture(s): Watford (A)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Bukayo Saka continues to prove himself as one of the leading players in FPL, picking up over 100 points so far. He&#8217;s relatively cheap at 6.5m and offers significant value, with seven goals and five assists for an Arsenal side pushing for the top four.<\/p>\n<h4>Ra\u00fal Jim\u00e9nez (7.5M)<\/h4>\n<p><em>FPL points so far: 78pts<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Fixture(s): Crystal Palace (H), Watford (H)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Jim\u00e9nez represents great value coming into a Double Gameweek, especially with both games being played at Molineux.
