It’s another bumper Double Gameweek as 14 Premier League sides prepare to play twice over the coming week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re weighing up using your Wildcard, Free Hit, or simply want to take a punt on one or two of our suggestions, we\u2019ve pulled together an 11-man team of players you should be considering for Double Gameweek 26. Our captaincy suggestion this week is Harry Kane.<\/p>\n

Opta\u2019s stats power the FPL game and help steer the Sky Bet market so what better way to figure out how to build your squad this week? Be warned, Saturday\u2019s deadline is at 11:00 ahead of West Ham’s trip to Manchester City (12:30 kick-off).<\/p>\n

Ederson:<\/strong> Manchester City face West Ham and Wolves in Double Gameweek 26 looking to extend a run of 18 wins across all competitions. Ederson recorded his 15th clean sheet of the season (three more than the next best) at Arsenal and has conceded just two Premier League goals in 10 fixtures in 2021. The Brazilian has not shipped a league goal at the Etihad Stadium since December 15 and now heads into a double-header at home. City to win to nil is 1\/1.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

\"FPL<\/p>\n

Joao Cancelo:<\/strong> City defenders are always worth a punt given their shutout record, but who is most likely to deliver attacking returns? Cancelo is the biggest forward threat in Pep Guardiola\u2019s defence, taking 25 shots and creating 34 chances this season. He has also started seven of the last eight despite Pep’s habit for rotating. Cancelo is 15\/2 to score any time against West Ham.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Matt Targett:<\/strong> Aston Villa have fixtures against Leeds and Sheffield United (both away) in Double Gameweek 26 and will be confident of keeping at least one clean sheet. Only Manchester City have more shutouts than Aston Villa this term, while Targett is also providing FPL value at the top of the field with three assists so far this season.<\/p>\n

Lucas Digne:<\/strong> Dine out on Digne for Double Gameweek 26. The Toffees host out-of-form Southampton before visiting relegation-threatened West Brom so there should be some clean sheet points for the taking. But Digne is also a good punt for his returns in the attacking third. He has eight FPL assists this season, while only James Rodriguez has created more big chances in the Everton side. Digne to score any time against Saints is 12\/1.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Sergio Reguilon:<\/strong> The Spaniard returned from injury at West Ham and heads into a Double Gameweek against Burnley then Fulham. No Spurs defender has provided more assists (three), had more shots (13) or played more key passes (10) than Reguilon despite his recent absence. Reguilon to score any time is 11\/1.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Harvey Barnes:<\/strong> Barnes is Leicester’s top-scoring midfielder on FPL this season with nine goals and five assists. He represents better value than James Maddison at 6.9 and goes into fixtures against Arsenal and Burnley in better form. With three goals and four assists in his last five, he averages just shy of eight points per match since Gameweek 21. Barnes to score first against Arsenal is 11\/2.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

\"Harvey<\/p>\n

Mohamed Salah:<\/strong> Liverpool may be underwhelming at the moment but Salah is still firing. He is the Premier League’s top scorer (17) and has four in his last five matches. Only Fernandes has had more shots on target in the Premier League this season, while Salah has also played 35 key passes and picked up four assists. Liverpool face Sheffield United and Chelsea in Double Gameweek 26. Salah to score 2+ at Sheffield United is 13\/5.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Bruno Fernandes:<\/strong> He averages more than 9 FPL points per match across the last five Gameweeks and faces Chelsea then Crystal Palace in Double Gameweek 26. Although Chelsea have tightened up under Thomas Tuchel, Palace have the second-leakiest defence in the division. Fernandes has a league-high 27 attacking returns this season. Fernandes to score first at Chelsea is 5\/1.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Ilkay Gundogan:<\/strong> He’s fit again after a minor groin injury suffered against Tottenham. Gundogan has now scored eight or more FPL points in seven of the last 11 Gameweeks he has featured in and Manchester City go into a favourable double-header at home. He is City’s top scorer and is thriving in a more attacking role – only Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling have had more shots. Gundogan is 16\/5 to score first against West Ham.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Harry Kane:<\/strong> Give him the armband. Tottenham have a great chance to pick up maximum points with fixtures against Burnley (H) and Fulham (A) in the coming days. No Spurs player has scored more goals (13), taken more shots (82) or created more big chances (12) than the England captain. Kane to score 2+ against Burnley is 4\/1.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Dominic Calvert-Lewin:<\/strong> The Everton forward earned the penalty which crowned Everton’s first win at Anfield since September 1999 and now heads into fixtures against Southampton and West Brom. Calvert-Lewin has eight more goals than the next-best Toffees scorer and far outstrips his team-mates for shots (55) and shot accuracy (58%). Calvert-Lewin to score 2+ against Southampton is 5\/1.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Who\u2019s it time to get rid of\/avoid?<\/h2>\n

Aaron Cresswell:<\/strong> For the time being you should think about ditching your West Ham assets. They are one of just six teams with only one match in Gameweek 26 and face two trips to Manchester in their next three fixtures.<\/p>\n

Christian Pulisic:<\/strong> Out of favour under Thomas Tuchel and without a score of more than four on FPL for 11 Gameweeks.<\/p>\n

Matty Cash:<\/strong> The Aston Villa man has a hamstring injury and is not expected back until mid-March.<\/p>\n
