The English manager took charge of the Toffees for 44 games across all competitions, winning just 12 and losing 24 (alongside eight draws). Nine of those wins did come at home, from 21 matches, but he also lost both of his away games against Everton as Chelsea manager. But all of those matches were played at Goodison Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everton will be hoping Lampard continues to struggle at the Hill Dickinson Stadium as they chase a rare home win over Coventry City. The Toffees have hosted Coventry nine times in the Premier League so far, with just one win. Coventry have won twice, alongside an impressive six draws. Everton&#8217;s only home Premier League win over Coventry came in April 1999 thanks to a brace from Kevin Campbell. There has been one draw and one Coventry win since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-leeds-vs-tottenham\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Leeds vs Tottenham<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tottenham are seeking a fourth consecutive league win for the first time since October 2023.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/roberto-de-zerbi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Roberto De Zerbi<\/a> finally has his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/clubs\/tottenham-hotspur\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> side up and running. Spurs were languishing in the relegation zone after six games, with three draws and three defeats. They had also only scored three goals &#8212; blanking in their first four matches. But after three consecutive victories, Tottenham have jumped up to ninth and are only four points outside the top four.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The run started with a victory over Coventry City before Tottenham secured a rare away win against Chelsea. Crystal Palace completed the hat-trick of &#8216;C&#8217; sides in the run, and Tottenham will be hopeful of another win this weekend &#8212; although there are no &#8216;C&#8217;s left to play. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/clubs\/leeds-united\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Leeds United<\/a> are the opponents and although they are unbeaten in their past eight home league games, Tottenham have won their last three Premier League visits to Elland Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-arsenal-vs-hull\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Arsenal vs Hull<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Arsenal could match their best-ever start to a Premier League season with a win this weekend.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Defending champions Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League table last weekend thanks to their 1-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield. The Gunners capitalised on Man City&#8217;s defeat to Brighton but they are also top of the league thanks to their own strong start. Brighton are actually the only side to have taken points off the Gunners, with a win over the champions in September. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arsenal have won their other eight matches this season to sit on 24 points, one of their best-ever starts to a Premier League campaign. A win over Hull City this weekend would make this Arsenal&#8217;s joint-best start with 27 points from 10 games. The Gunners also achieved that tally in 2022\/23, when they went on to miss out on the title by five points. History is in Arsenal&#8217;s favour with seven straight Premier League home wins and three consecutive clean sheets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-fulham-vs-newcastle\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fulham vs Newcastle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fulham are looking to win three consecutive Premier League home games against Newcastle for the first time since 2014.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alvaro Arbeloa looks to have finally found his feet as Fulham manager. After going winless in his first six games, Fulham have now taken seven points from their past three matches. Wins over Hull and Coventry got Fulham up and running, before a draw with Aston Villa last weekend. The Cottagers remain 15th but they could climb with a victory over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/clubs\/newcastle-united\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Newcastle United<\/a> this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Magpies have lost three of their past four games and are two points and two places above Fulham. The Cottagers have enjoyed this fixture recently, winning their past two home league games against Newcastle. There was a 3-1 victory in September 2024 and a 2-0 win in May. Fulham last enjoyed such a run between February 2011 and March 2014 when they won four consecutive home league games against Newcastle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-nottingham-forest-vs-man-city\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nottingham Forest vs Man City<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Man City could lose three Premier League games in a row for the first time since November 2024.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Things were going so well for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/enzo-maresca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Enzo Maresca<\/a> at Man City. The Citizens had won their first seven league games and looked to be in a good position to make a historic best start. But things have quickly turned. Man City lost their eighth game of the season, beaten by Aston Villa, and were then beaten by Brighton last weekend. It saw them lose top spot and they&#8217;re now chasing in this early stage of the title race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Man City haven&#8217;t lost three consecutive league games since November 2024 when their streak extended to four matches. Then, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/pep-guardiola\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pep Guardiola<\/a>&#8216;s side were beaten by Bournemouth, Brighton, Tottenham and Liverpool before ending the streak against &#8212; you guessed it &#8212; Nottingham Forest. The Tricky Trees don&#8217;t look likely to add to Man City&#8217;s woes at the moment, winless in six consecutive home league games, while also only scoring six goals this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-brighton-vs-brentford\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Brighton vs Brentford<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/kevin-schade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kevin Schade<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/igor-thiago\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Igor Thiago<\/a> could become Brentford&#8217;s outright fourth-highest Premier League scorer this weekend.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brighton and Brentford meet at the Amex on Sunday in what will be a good battle between two of the league&#8217;s better teams. The Seagulls are currently third with 19 points from nine games, including wins over Arsenal and Man City. Brentford, meanwhile, are sixth and have lost just one league game all season. Brighton might feel the more optimistic about this game, with three wins and two draws in their past five games against Brentford at the Amex. But there is a pair of Brentford stars looking to make their mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both Kevin Schade and Igor Thiago come into this game having scored 24 goals for Brentford in the Premier League. There are only three players above them in the Bees&#8217; overall rankings: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/yoane-wissa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Yoane Wissa<\/a> (45), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/bryan-mbeumo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> (42) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/ivan-toney\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ivan Toney<\/a> (36). Both players will be looking to take fourth outright in the close battle, and the Bees&#8217; next goal will also be their 300th in the Premier League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-crystal-palace-vs-liverpool\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Crystal Palace vs Liverpool<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Crystal Palace are seeking back-to-back Premier League home wins over Liverpool for the first time.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pressure is piling on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/pierre-sage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pierre Sage<\/a>, with Crystal Palace 18th in the Premier League. The Eagles have won just two of their nine games this season and go into this match having lost their past three. They have failed to score in all three of those matches too, and go into this game without <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/jean-philippe-mateta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jean-Philippe Mateta<\/a> after his red card against Tottenham Hotspur. Not the best time, then, to be facing Liverpool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although the Reds go into this game having lost to Arsenal last weekend, they remain fifth in the Premier League.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/andoni-iraola\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Andoni Iraola<\/a>&#8216;s men are also unbeaten away from home in the league this season. But they did lose on their last visit to Selhurst Park, a 2-1 defeat in September 2025. Crystal Palace have never won back-to-back Premier League home games against Liverpool, with just three wins in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-ipswich-vs-bournemouth\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ipswich vs Bournemouth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/lewis-cook\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lewis Cook<\/a> could become just the second player to make 200 Premier League appearances for Bournemouth.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bournemouth are another team to have taken some time to find their feet under a new manager. But <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/marco-rose\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marco Rose<\/a> looks to be on his way up after three consecutive wins. They face an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/clubs\/ipswich-town\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ipswich Town<\/a> side that are going the other way, winless in their past three to sit 14th after nine games. Clean sheets have been key to Bournemouth&#8217;s run, with three in a row their joint-best run of Premier League shutouts. So the Cherries will be chasing another historic clean sheet at Portman Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But there could also be a nice moment for Lewis Cook. The midfielder has represented Bournemouth 199 times in the Premier League so far, and is just one game away from the double century. While on its own this moment would be big, Cook could become just the second player to make 200 Premier League appearances for Bournemouth. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/adam-smith\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adam Smith<\/a> is the first &#8212; and so far only &#8212; player to achieve the feat, with 264 Premier League games for the Cherries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-sunderland-vs-chelsea\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sunderland vs Chelsea<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sunderland could beat Chelsea in three consecutive Premier League games for the first time since 2001.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chelsea bounced back from a mini rut last weekend with their win over Manchester United. And they&#8217;ll be hoping for another victory against a struggling Sunderland side. The Black Cats have taken just five points from their opening nine league games &#8212; with one win &#8212; sitting bottom of the table. They are the second-lowest scorers in the league and have one of the worst defences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But Sunderland have a good recent record against Chelsea. Regis Le Bris&#8217; side beat the Blues at Stamford Bridge in October 2025 and then again in May at the Stadium of Light, both by a 2-1 scoreline. The Black Cats have only ever beaten Chelsea in three consecutive Premier League games once more, doing so between December 1999 and March 2001. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-man-utd-vs-aston-villa\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Man Utd vs Aston Villa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Aston Villa are seeking just a third win at Old Trafford in 32 Premier League games.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/players\/michael-carrick\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Michael Carrick<\/a> will be hoping his Man Utd side can build on a rare win in midweek. The Red Devils looked to be on their way to another damning defeat, trailing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/stats\/clubs\/roma\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Roma<\/a> 2-0 at Old Trafford in the Champions League. But a late fight saw Man Utd turn the deficit into a 3-2 win, their first victory in 10 games across all competitions. They now host Aston Villa at Old Trafford and the Red Devils have a good record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Man Utd have lost just two of their 31 Premier League home games against Aston Villa, with 24 wins and five draws. Those two defeats have been spread out too, with the first coming in December 2009 and the most recent one in September 2021. But Aston Villa are unbeaten in their past five league games this season, and Man Utd are still winless in seven in the Premier League.
