Things could&#8217;ve been worse for Spurs had Vicario not come up with a couple of handy saves in the first half. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-pedro-porro-62\">Pedro Porro: 62%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Miles out of position on the first goal, though he was trying to get forward and wasn&#8217;t helped by Romero&#8217;s dreadful pass. Attempted four crosses and created one chance as he looked to get things going for Spurs in the final third, but to no success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cristian-romero-42\">Cristian Romero: 42%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Gave up possession needlessly on the first goal, then was utterly bullied in the air by Ekitike on the second. A day to forget for the Argentine, who was kept busy with 12 clearances and three tackles. Caused a bit of havoc in the Liverpool box for Richarlison&#8217;s goal, but then later got himself stupidly sent off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-micky-van-de-ven-57\">Micky van de Ven: 57%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Wasn&#8217;t helped by his centre-back partner here. Tried to keep Liverpool at bay with five clearances, while managing four passes into the final third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-djed-spence-66\">Djed Spence: 66%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One of Tottenham&#8217;s bigger attacking threats, creating one big chance and hitting a shot on target from distance, while unsuccessfully appealing for a penalty as he drove at Bradley in the first half. Made two tackles, two clearances and five recoveries, while winning four of his six duels.  Couldn&#8217;t stop the cross coming in for Liverpool&#8217;s second goal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-rodrigo-bentancur-58\">Rodrigo Bentancur: 58%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Got through a mountain of defensive work in midfield, making two tackles, two clearances, seven recoveries, a block and two interceptions. Also won four of his 10 duels, but still managed six passes into the final third and one chance created &#8212; which is a step forward considering how much he&#8217;s been criticised for his negativity this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-archie-gray-49\">Archie Gray: 49%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A steady performance for Gray in difficult circumstances. Much improved after his error against Nottingham Forest last time out, but still needs to show a lot more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-mohammed-kudus-59\">Mohammed Kudus: 59%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Almost anonymous for Tottenham, attempting just one shot and failing to create a chance, while only touching the ball once in the Liverpool box. Hooked just before the hour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-lucas-bergvall-52\">Lucas Bergvall: 52%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A surprise inclusion in the starting line-up. Worked hard for the team again and showed his same level of precision on the ball, but wasn&#8217;t able to worry Liverpool too much. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-xavi-simons-54\">Xavi Simons: 54%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Was looking like a potential bright spark for Tottenham, creating one chance, completing his one attempted dribble and playing two passes into the final third. However, was sent off just after the half-hour mark for running his studs down the leg of compatriot Virgil van Dijk, which left Spurs facing an unscalable mountain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-randal-kolo-muani-52\">Randal Kolo Muani: 52%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Probably should have scored, getting a handful of chances in and around the six-yard box, but couldn&#8217;t find his mark. Created one chance too. Landed Liverpool into some sticky situations in the second half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-virgil-van-dijk-65\">Virgil van Dijk: 65%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Swing and a miss trying to clear the ball on Richarlison&#8217;s goal, but was dominant otherwise. Won eight of 10 aerial duels and both his ground duels, alongside one tackle, six clearances and three recoveries. Only misplaced four of his 78 passes, completing 17 into the final third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-milos-kerkez-61\">Milos Kerkez: 61%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Didn&#8217;t offer much going forward, but put in a solid defensive effort, winning 100% of his ground duels and not allowing anyone to dribble past him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ryan-gravenberch-66\">Ryan Gravenberch: 66%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Like a metronome on the ball, which he used to create two chances and play nine passes into the final third. Showed composure to help Liverpool see things out when the cracks started to appear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-alexis-mac-allister-57\">Alexis Mac Allister: 57%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Intercepted the ball to get Liverpool moving on the first goal, but was pretty quiet otherwise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-florian-wirtz-72\">Florian Wirtz: 72%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Combined beautifully to get the assist for Isak on the opener, which is his first direct goal involvement in the Premier League. Created two chances overall, while completing four of five dribbles, having seven touches in the opposition box and winning five of his eight ground duels. His best domestic performance in a Liverpool shirt so far. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hugo-ekitike-68\">Hugo Ekitike: 68%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Drifted in and out of the match, but came out with the decisive moment as he rose above Romero to head home Liverpool&#8217;s second. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-alexander-isak-76\">Alexander Isak: 76%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Was only on the pitch for 15 minutes, touching the ball four times. However, that&#8217;s all he needed to break the deadlock, though he did pick up what looks like it could be a nasty injury in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-jeremie-frimpong-52\">Jeremie Frimpong: 52%<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Neat and tidy with the ball without doing anything too noteworthy.
