It&#8217;s been all change at Bournemouth too, particularly in defence, where they&#8217;ve been weakened significantly with several players leaving. With that increase in demand, comes an increase in pressure on the players. It&#8217;s been a long, hard summer for Newcastle. They&#8217;ve been embroiled in transfer speculation regarding several players, struggled to sign their targets and there is a dark cloud hanging over the North East heading into the new season. There is a long way to go though and this will be the first litmus test for the Seagulls. It&#8217;s been a quiet summer for Fulham, and that&#8217;s created some whispers that the Cottagers could struggle this season. This isn&#8217;t the ideal start for them and we&#8217;re predicting that home advantage edges Brighton ahead in this contest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prediction: Brighton 2-1 Fulham (<strong><a href=\"\/en\/go\/midnite?q=gb-all-con-wof-s-spo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">15\/2 with Midnite<\/a><\/strong>)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sunderland-vs-west-ham\">Sunderland vs West Ham<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Saturday 16th August, 3pm<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/news\/sunderland-vs-west-ham-premier-league\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Sunderland vs West Ham&nbsp;prediction, stats, tips and team news<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There weren&#8217;t many that would&#8217;ve predicted Sunderland would be playing in the Premier League this season, even when they made the Championship playoffs in the last term. But here we are, the Black Cats are back in the top league and they&#8217;ll want to make it count. West Ham struggled last season and they&#8217;ll want to atone for that this time around. It could be tricky though, with the Hammers relying on Jarrod Bowen to once again be their saviour. We can&#8217;t separate these two sides on the opening weekend and we&#8217;re backing a draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prediction: Sunderland 1-1 West Ham (<strong><a href=\"\/en\/go\/midnite?q=gb-all-con-wof-s-spo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">11\/2 with Midnite<\/a><\/strong>)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-ad75c5a7-eea9-4748-b2ae-bb18a514ca4a\">Tottenham vs Burnley<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-66016336-a44d-4f85-8c21-44fafb81613e\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Saturday 16th August, 3pm<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/news\/tottenham-vs-burnley-premier-league\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Tottenham vs Burnley&nbsp;prediction, stats, tips and team news<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-004825dd-dddc-40f1-a2b2-89e85fccb958\">Tottenham ended the season on a high, picking up the Europa League and ensuring they&#8217;d be playing Champions League football this season. They&#8217;ve complemented that by signing some good players in key positions and it could be an interesting year for Spurs. Burnley make their return to the Premier League after narrowly missing out on the Championship title last season. The addition of Joao Pedro looks to be a key one with the forward hitting the ground running since his arrival at Stamford Bridge. Brentford have had a turbulent summer, with Bryan Mbeumo leaving the club and Yoane Wissa looking to follow suit. It remains to be seen if these changes will have the desired effect and they face a stern test on the opening weekend. Arsenal have brought in reinforcements of their own this summer as they try and break their second-place hoodoo. Everton will have to wait another week to unveil their new Hill Dickinson Stadium and will have to settle for a tough trip to Elland Road on the opening weekend.
