Despite their recent upturn in form under Enzo Maresca, expect another blue day with Liverpool coming out on top.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction:<\/strong> Win<\/p>\n<h3><strong>RB Leipzig<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> October 23<\/li>\n<li><strong>Competition:<\/strong> Champions League<\/li>\n<li><strong>Venue:<\/strong> Away<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It&#8217;s been a disappointing start in the Champions League for RB Leipzig, who come into this game having lost back-to-back; even more frustrating is they&#8217;ve looked alright in those outings and they should give Slot&#8217;s men a run for their money, but again fall short.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction:<\/strong> Win<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Arsenal<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> October 27<\/li>\n<li><strong>Competition:<\/strong> Premier League<\/li>\n<li><strong>Venue:<\/strong> Away<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Two championship rivals go head-to-head, but last season&#8217;s runners-up are missing a central defensive lynchpin, which could be in Liverpool&#8217;s favour, but the Gunners, if they keep all eleven men on the field, are still a formidable outfit. This clash has a draw written all over it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction:<\/strong> Draw<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Brighton<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> October 30<\/li>\n<li><strong>Competition:<\/strong> EFL Cup<\/li>\n<li><strong>Venue:<\/strong> Away<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The first of two consecutive meetings against Brighton, and this being in the EFL Cup, expect Slot to give his big guns a rest, but as we&#8217;ve seen in the previous round, Liverpool&#8217;s back-ups are good as most team&#8217;s first choices, and they should have enough to return home with progression into the next stage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction:<\/strong> Win<\/p>\n<h3>Brighton<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> November 2<\/li>\n<li><strong>Competition:<\/strong> Premier League<\/li>\n<li><strong>Venue:<\/strong> Home<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Barring any injuries or suspension, Liverpool should be at full strength here, and that spells trouble for Brighton, who do have the capability of causing the Reds a rough time, but more often than not, they should have enough at home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction:<\/strong> Win<\/p>\n<!-- Shortcode [paddy-power-chelsea-win-liverpool] does not exist -->\n<h3>Bayer Leverkusen<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> November 5<\/li>\n<li><strong>Competition:<\/strong> Champions League<\/li>\n<li><strong>Venue:<\/strong> Home<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Xabi Alonso returns, and the former Liverpool midfield maestro will get a warm reception. He could have been in the home team&#8217;s dugout if things had turned out differently. Leverkusen hasn&#8217;t been able to replicate last season&#8217;s form, but they&#8217;re far from reaching those heights. This should be a tight affair with the Reds, powered on by their 12th man, sneaking it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction:<\/strong> Win<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Aston Villa<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> November 9<\/li>\n<li><strong>Competition:<\/strong> Premier League<\/li>\n<li><strong>Venue:<\/strong> Home<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Unai Emery has the personnel to cause Liverpool problems with a draw and a fair prediction. Both teams would be coming off playing in Europe mid-week, so you have to fancy the hosts getting all three points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction:<\/strong> Win<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Southampton<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> November 24<\/li>\n<li><strong>Competition:<\/strong> Premier League<\/li>\n<li><strong>Venue:<\/strong> Away<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Southampton fans would be hopeful their side&#8217;s fortunes have changed when this fixture comes around, but it&#8217;s still going to be a tall order to get something from a Liverpool team that has shown no mercy to newly promoted teams.<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: Win<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Real Madrid<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> November 27<br \/>\n<strong>Competition:<\/strong> Champions League<br \/>\n<strong>Venue:<\/strong> Away<\/p>\n<p>A blockbuster showdown in Europe&#8217;s premier club competition and a repeat of two previous Champions League finals in which Liverpool lost. Expect another setback here, albeit a close-fought contest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction:<\/strong> Lose<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Man City<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> December 1<br \/>\n<strong>Competition:<\/strong> Premier League<br \/>\n<strong>Venue:<\/strong> Away<\/p>\n<p>Talk about going from the frying pan into the fire. Madrid to Manchester in a couple of days. Liverpool have struggled at City&#8217;s home in recent years, and we don&#8217;t expect that to change with the English champions coming out on top.
