Tottenham Hotspur completed the signing of Dominic Solanke at the weekend but it looks like they’re far from done in the market.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Lilywhites paid a club-record fee that could rise to \u00a365m for Solanke, who scored 19 Premier League goals last season and will, hopefully, become the Harry Kane replacement Spurs have craved following his sale to Bayern Munich last summer.<\/p>\n

But already, it looks like Tottenham have their sights set on further arrivals, with Ange Postecoglou confirming the door remains open this summer.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, we\u2019ll see, there\u2019s still time in the window and I think there\u2019ll still be some activity,” he said following Spurs’ 3-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in their final pre-season friendly.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are trying to identify players who fit into our style of football. There will be a bit of adjustment but hopefully, they will already have those qualities to come into the group and contribute straight away. That is my expectation when we sign someone \u2013 they will be ready to contribute from the moment they arrive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kyle Walker-Peters is one such target, with reports suggesting Spurs could activate their \u00a330m buy-back clause to bring the defender back to the club four years after he left permanently for Southampton — where he impressed in their promotion campaign last season.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge has stated<\/a> that Spurs may yet come back for another forward before the window is out, despite Solanke joining a seriously talented group of attacking players that also includes Son Heung-min, Richarlison, Dejan Kulusevski and Timo Werner to name a few.<\/p>\n

So, which forwards would they deem talented enough to potentially push an already established squad member out the door?<\/p>\n

Spurs are very well-priced by bookmakers when it comes to Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, with Sky Bet<\/a> and Paddy Power<\/a> rating their chances at 11\/10 and 8\/11, respectively. Eze enjoyed his best season yet in 2023\/24, notching 11 goals and four assists in 27 Premier League appearances, increasing what was already a considerable profile — not to mention earning him a place in the England squad for Euro 2024.<\/p>\n

And then there’s Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White — priced at 9\/1 and 5\/1, respectively — who would undoubtedly provide great competition and back-up to James Maddison, who suffered greatly with injuries last season.<\/p>\n

As mentioned, the signing of another forward would surely require the sale of an existing Spurs player.<\/p>\n

Richarlison has been linked with former club Everton as well as the Saudi Pro League. However, the Brazilian has expressed a desire to stay and fight for his place at Spurs, or at the very least remain in the Premier League, making the former much more favoured over the latter should a transfer happen.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere has been an offer from Saudi, but my dream of playing for the Brazilian Sele\u00e7\u00e3o and in the Premier League speaks louder,” said Richarlison, who remains an incredibly popular figure among Evertonians. \u201cThe money is big but my dreams are bigger!”<\/p>\n

Manor Solomon is another possible candidate, with reports suggesting a number of Premier League clubs have expressed an interest. The Israel international could leave even if Tottenham don’t sign another forward and although he struggled for fitness last season, his return of five goals in 24 appearances for Fulham in the 2022\/23 campaign is still fresh in the memory.<\/p>\n

After adding some youngsters early on, Spurs fans had to wait a long time for their club to make a major move in the transfer market. However, Solanke may prove to be the deal that opens the floodgates at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.<\/p>\n
