Liverpool have secured a clean sweep of cup finals for the 2021\/22 season but their immediate focus is on continuing to pile the pressure on Premier League leaders Manchester City, who sit one point ahead with four matches remaining. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The 19-time English champions are in scintillating form having won having picked up 40 points from the last 42 available. During this potentially championship-winning run they’ve averaged 2.4 goals per game. That doesn’t bode well for their upcoming opponents, two of whom (Aston Villa and Southampton) are in the bottom half but safe from relegation while Wolves, who occupy eighth spot, are on a three-game losing streak.<\/p>\n

But the Reds’ biggest remaining top-flight challenge will show up to Anfield on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n\n

Despite recently blanking in back-to-back games, Tottenham will give Klopp’s defence something to ponder. Antonio Conte has switched things up and is starting to fully harness Spurs’ capable forward line, complementing Harry Kane and Son Heung-min with the addition of Dejan Kulusevski.
