The Red are in the Champions League final and have taken the Premier League title race to the final two matches with history in their sights.<\/p>\n<p>Should Liverpool pull off the Quadruple, they would become the first English men&#8217;s team to achieve the feat and just the second in the British game after Celtic did it way back in 1966\/67.<\/p>\n<p>Jurgen Klopp&#8217;s men have just two games left this season, culminating in the Champions League final at Stade de France. But each match from now until the end of the season is essentially a final unto itself.<\/p>\n<p>With that in mind, we&#8217;ve had a look at those games to see exactly where Liverpool&#8217;s quadruple challenge could <em>possibly<\/em> falter, rating each game either Simple, So-so, or a Slip depending on the difficulty it will pose to the Reds.<\/p>\n\n<p>Obviously, Liverpool are the form side in England right now. The way they ground Manchester United up into powder then sprinkled them all over Anfield like they were salt bae, or the way they surged back from their worst half of the season to pulverise Villarreal in the second half of the Champions League semi-final were vulgar displays of power. That power will have everyone on notice.<\/p>\n<p>Even their slip-up against Spurs didn&#8217;t lead to a collapse, as they showed tremendous mental strength to come from behind and beat Aston Villa. Just that this is going to be as hard as it gets for Jurgen Klopp and his men.<\/p>\n<p>Real Madrid, the side who beat Liverpool in the 2018 showcase and who have that incredible quality of not needing to play well to win games, lie in wait.<\/p>\n<p>The 13-time champions have the best goalkeeper and No.9 in the world in Thibaut Courtois and Karim Benzema. And in Luka Modric, they have someone who could get dominated by Liverpool&#8217;s midfield for 70 minutes of the final, yet still produce a match-winning turn in the last 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, they have the motivation of Mohamed Salah repeatedly saying he wanted to face them and that he has unfinished business with them, moving Los Blancos to reassert their dominance. They&#8217;ve already downed two of the top three Premier League sides en route to the final, so why would they fear the Reds?<\/p>\n<p>Of course, Liverpool could also convincingly beat Real Madrid.
