In an incredible evening of football, Man City devastated Liverpool 1-4 at Anfield to confirm their status as champions-elect atop the Premier League.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was Pep Guardiola’s first-ever win away to Liverpool. The Reds’ third consective home defeat has not only all-but killed any chance of them retaining their title, but on a day when all Man City’s rivals dropped points it’s put Pep’s men well in the clear to be 2020\/21 Premier League champions.<\/p>\n

Alisson <\/span>– 3 – <\/strong>A solid display turned into a disaster 70 minutes in when Alisson’s passing radar and spatial awareness vanished. He began giving the ball away ludicrously, twice in a quick spell which led to City’s second and then again minutes later which led to their third. He completed his miserable night by making a poor effort to save Phil Foden’s shock. Perhaps rushing someone back from illness is not the smartest idea and Kelleher should have started?<\/p>\n

Trent Alexander-Arnold – 6 – <\/strong>Some nice crosses in attack and really got involved defensively even if he was unable to handle Raheem Sterling in any way shape or form.<\/p>\n

Fabinho – 4 – <\/strong>Conceded a penalty with a foolish foul and never looked capable of handling City’s attackers in full flight.<\/p>\n
