In an open night of football, Bayern Munich beat Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The result sends Bayern top of the Bundesliga and gives then consecutive away wins against their rivals for the first time in 50 years.<\/p>\n

Borussia Dortmund<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Roman Burki – 7 – <\/strong>Made several massive stops to try and keep Bayern out. May have even saved Alaba’s free-kick had Hummels not ran into his path to stop him.<\/p>\n

Thomas Meunier – 4 – <\/strong>Awful defending of David Alaba’s free-kick. Steps away from the wall which was bad enough but then turned his back on the shot, allowing it to deflect nicely off his back and spin into the net. Wasn’t good enough in attack either.<\/p>\n

Manuel Akanji – 6 – <\/strong>A genuinely impressive display from the Swiss centre-back as he covered for his less mobile partner. However Akanji’s weak tackle attempt on Leroy San\u00e9 allowed Bayern to score their game-winner, blotting their copybook.<\/p>\n

Mats Hummels – 4 – <\/strong>Sloppy defending for what looked like Bayern’s first goal as he lost Lewandowski, sloppy defending for what was Bayern’s first goal as he retreated onto the line and blocked Roman Burki from diving for the ball, and finally sloppy defending for Bayern’s second goal as he lost track of Lewandowski and let him get his header off unmarked. Not the best night for the ex-Bayern man.<\/p>\n

Raphael Guerreiro – 8 – <\/strong>A superb display as Guerreiro provided constant width on the left and was the most creative player on the park, laying on an utterly absurd 8 chances for team-mates. Unsurprisingly set-up both of Dortmund’s goals, one with a low flat cross to Reus and the second with a delicious scoop pass to send Erling Haaland streaming through.<\/p>\n

Erling Haaland has now scored six goals in just five Bundesliga appearances this season.<\/p>\n
