Arguably the biggest club in the world, and one of the wealthiest, Real Madrid are blessed with an enviable amount of riches both on and off the pitch.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 13-time Champions League winners have some of the best players in the world on their cards, and are always looking to add to their ranks, building the new Galacticos. But Los Blancos still have to keep their current players secure from any team that may look to poach them, especially considering Spanish clubs are obliged to include release clauses in all player contracts.<\/p>\n

While for some clubs this may add to the risk of losing their stars, teams like Real Madrid often set these release clauses at a prohibitively high amount, meaning they are in full control of their players’ futures – unless a rival digs deep into their pockets.<\/p>\n

So, who would cost a rival team the most to steal from Real Madrid? We’ve ranked every Real Madrid player by their reported release clause below, from lowest to highest – although the club have remained tight-lipped on certain stars, who miss out.<\/p>\n
