In a topsy turvy afternoon of football, Spurs came from behind to beat Arsenal 2-1 at Tottenham Stadium.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The win lets Jos\u00e9 Mourinho’s men leapfrog their great rivals to jump up into 8th place. The first-half was just a mess but the second period was vintage Mourinho where Spurs surrendered possession and struck on the break.<\/p>\n

Spurs<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Hugo Lloris – 7 – <\/strong>Imposing in the Spurs goal. Helpless on Lacazette’s wonder strike but otherwise was equal to anything and everything Arsenal threw at him.<\/p>\n

Serge Aurier – 5 – <\/strong>Shockingly heavy first-touch that conceded possession just before Arsenal took the lead. Offered little in attack.<\/p>\n

Davinson S\u00e1nchez – 7 – <\/strong>Thwarted Arsenal when he had to.<\/p>\n

Toby Alderweireld – 8 – <\/strong>A rock solid performance in defence, showing why Mourinho coveted him for all those years despite his age. He made a game-high 7 clearances and then to top it all off won the day with a nice header.<\/p>\n

Toby Alderweireld is the first Tottenham player to score against Arsenal at both White Hart Lane and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.<\/p>\n
