Following two weeks of exciting action, the Europa League round-of-32 is almost at its end.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While Champions League sides have seen their first knockout round spread out, Europa League teams have had a short turnaround in their ties due to extra competitors.<\/p>\n

Obviously, sixteen sides will be hoping to secure their place in the last-16 ahead of Thursday’s round of second-leg fixtures.<\/p>\n

When is the Europa League draw? Five things to know…<\/strong><\/h2>\n

  • The Europa League last-16 draw will take place on Friday 28 February in\u00a0Nyon, Switzerland, at 12 PM GMT.<\/li>\n
  • There will be no seedings or country protection for the draw.<\/li>\n
  • This means teams can be drawn against opponents from the same association.<\/li>\n
  • Any further restrictions will be confirmed by Uefa prior to the draw.<\/li>\n
  • The last-16 ties are scheduled to take place on 12 and 19 March.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
