Pep Guardiola<\/span>‘s men are in the title race \u2013 although they are only just about hanging onto Liverpool<\/span>‘s coattails \u2013 while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer<\/span>‘s men face a battle to get back into the top-four conversation.<\/p>\n

Saturday’s Manchester derby is set to be a crucial game for both clubs, with far more than bragging rights at stake at the Etihad Stadium ahead of a busy festive fixture list.<\/p>\n

The Citizens<\/span> can scarcely afford to fall further behind the early pacesetters while the Red Devils will be desperate to build on the positive progress they made against Spurs.<\/p>\n

Talking of progress, some players have come on leaps and bounds this season. However, plenty of others appear to be going backwards after significant slides in form. Jesse Lingard, we’re looking at you.<\/p>\n
