It was an intense night of\u00a0Europa League\u00a0third round qualifiers with heartache and\u00a0jubilation across the board in\u00a0equal measure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wolverhampton Wanderers made light work of\u00a0FC Pyunik across their two legs and will face an ominous play-off tie against Torino, who cruised past\u00a0Shakhtyor Soligorsk earlier this evening.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Rangers comfortably made their way past\u00a0Midtjylland, with\u00a0Steven Gerrard’s side set to face\u00a0Polish club Legia Warsaw in the final phase of these preliminary rounds before reaching the group stages.<\/p>\n

Finally, on these shores Aberdeen were humbled by Croatian club\u00a0HNK Rijeka, with the Dons not being aided by an early red card; Rijecki bijeli will take on\u00a0Belgian side Gent in their respective play-off round.<\/p>\n

There were a whole host of\u00a0third round qualifiers to fill your boots this evening, and we’ve picked out some memorable moments you may have missed…<\/p>\n

1. Fledgling\u00a0Feyenoord<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In the earlier matches\u00a0Feyenoord locked horns with Georgian outfit\u00a0Dinamo Tbilisi, knowing that\u00a0Felic Vicente’s side would only advance if they managed to overturn a four-goal deficit from the first leg at\u00a0De Kuip.<\/p>\n

2. El Bufalo’s rampage goes on<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Rangers’ mercurial Colombian forward\u00a0Alfredo Morelos has only played eight matches across all competitions this season, but he’s already found the back of the net nine times, enhancing that sumptuous purple patch with the opening and third goal at\u00a0Ibrox this evening.<\/p>\n

His on-field mood can often appear more proverbial bull – or perhaps Buffalo would be more apt here – in a china shop, but his goalscoring ability is that of\u00a0finesse, with his opening finish this evening an exquisite piece of improvisation.<\/p>\n

As Sheyi Ojo surged forward, the Liverpool loanee sent in a low cross which found the path of the South American, whose shimmy almost dismissively took\u00a0Midtjylland defender\u00a0Rasmus Nicolaisen out of the equation before he struck past\u00a0Jesper Hansen, and he would be at it again just after the interval to complete his brace.<\/p>\n

3. Fiery\u00a0Funso<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In a bid to prolong their European adventure Aberdeen sought to beef up their midfield with the acquisition of\u00a0Funso Ojo from\u00a0Scunthorpe United in the summer, but the Belgian newcomer has thus far proven more\u00a0reckless than\u00a0resilient, getting sent off for two yellow cards this evening, with both bookings brandished in only the 20th minute.<\/p>\n
