Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knew he had a very big job on his hands when he took charge of Manchester United last season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And the summer transfer market has proven to be far from straightforward for the Red Devils.<\/p>\n

Just two major arrivals have come through the front door at Old Trafford, with the window set to shut ahead of the start of the 2019\/20 Premier League season.<\/p>\n

Understandably, fans are keen to see at least a couple of new signings before then. The club is not in the business of making up the numbers and the general consensus is that options need to be bolstered further if silverware is to be challenged for this term.<\/p>\n

But how is Solskjaer going to set his side up to integrate the new faces \u2013 and emerging youth prospects \u2013 as it stands? Duel master Aaron Wan-Bissaka is assured of a place at right-back while Daniel James is set to add a healthy dose of pace in wide areas.<\/p>\n

A new central defender is still required and it is widely reported a deal has been agreed to make Harry Maguire that man. The Englishman will likely be fielded alongside Victor Lindelof to solve the problem of United’s vulnerabilities in defence.<\/p>\n

A Paul Pogba-shaped hole may well need to be filled too. Meanwhile, big question marks remain over Romelu Lukaku’s future. The big Belgian seems to be edging towards Serie A, but Juventus forward Paulo Dybala is reportedly not sure he wants to move in the opposite direction.<\/p>\n
