They have conceded at least six goals in each those games, scoring just twice.<\/p>\n<p>One of those matches came against England in the 2007 group stages. Things got worse in 2007 when Germany put 11 past Argentina, who simply haven&#8217;t been able to deal with their European counterparts at the tournament.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>South American opposition suits England<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Making things even more difficult for Argentina is the fact England have a 100% record against South American teams.<\/p>\n<p>Having beaten Friday&#8217;s opponents by a five-goal margin 12 years ago, England scraped past Colombia with a 2-1 victory in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The Lionesses will be confident of maintaining that 100% record against South American nations, although Argentina proved they are made of slightly sterner stuff these days by holding Japan to a goalless draw in their opener to earn their first ever World Cup point.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Would You Rather Matthijs de Ligt or Frenkie de Jong?
