The summer rebuild at Old Trafford is underway, with Manchester United in desperate need of a squad overhaul.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have already dismissed a Premier League title challenge next season as “miraculous” but that hasn’t stopped the Norwegian making the\u00a0first signing of his tenure<\/a>, bringing in flying winger Daniel James from Swansea City.<\/p>\n

The Wales international should inject some much-needed pace into a United side that stumbled to a sixth-place finish last term, ending the season with a run of eight defeats in 12 games across all competitions.<\/p>\n

But what should Manchester United do next? The Red Devils face an uncertain transfer window, with the likes of David de Gea and Paul Pogba linked with moves away from the club, while a whole host of players are being suggested as potential signings. And Wayne Rooney is adamant that even the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi would not necessarily solve United’s problems.<\/p>\n
