Real Madrid have confirmed that Jesus Vallejo has joined Wolves on loan for the 2019/20 season.

The 22-year-old has struggled for game-time at the Bernabeu, having made just 19 appearances in two seasons for Los Blancos. The Spanish giants confirmed the news on their website today.

Vallejo has represented Spain at youth level imperiously, most recently captaining their U21 side to European glory in Italy this summer.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo was very public last week saying that Wolves were going to be ‘busy’ in the transfer window. Vallejo becomes their third signing of the window after the loans of Raul Jiminez and Leander Dendoncker were made permanent at the end of last season.

Nuno and his men managed to win the Premier League Asia Trophy last week despite arriving in China with just 11 first-team players available following the departures of Ivan Cavaleiro and Helder Costa.

Vallejo is highly rated by the Madrid hierarchy and already has a lot of experience for such a young player. With Wolves back in Europe for the first time in 39-years, Nune Espirito Santo will be hoping he can make a big contribution to a successful campaign on multiple fronts.
