Willian: I will be “very sad” if Eden Hazard leaves Chelsea
Chelsea forward Willian says he will be “very sad” if Eden Hazard leaves this summer.
The 28-year-old Belgian winger has been heavily associated with a move to Real Madrid, thus ending a seven-year association with the Stamford Bridge club.

This speculation means the forthcoming Europa League final against Arsenal in Baku on May 29 could be Hazard’s final game for the club.
Since joining from Lille in 2012, when he had the pick of many clubs, Hazard has gone on to become a modern Premier League and Chelsea great. He’s been pivotal in both of the Blues’ last two championship wins under Jose Mourinho (2014/15) and then Antonio Conte (2016/17).
In those seasons, he scored 14 and 16 goals respectively. However, in the season just gone, he equalled that latter tally as well as creating a further 15 for his teammates despite Chelsea finishing in fourth.
If he does leave, it will be a huge loss given what he brings to the table and though he won’t be drawn into entertaining these rumours, it’s clear where teammate Willian stands.

“It’s difficult to say (anything) about this situation because we do not know what is going to happen,” he told Sky Sports. “What I can say is if he goes, I am going to be very sad.”
Assist King
If Hazard does say goodbye then he departs as the Premier League’s assist king. In yet another close battle for the crown, Hazard, who created 15 goals, edged out Ryan Fraser of Bournemouth by one assist.
Below them were Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen (12) and Liverpool’s full-back pairing of Trent Alexander-Arnold (12) and Andrew Robertson (11).
It earned Hazard, whose Chelsea contract expires in 2020, the Premier League’s Playmaker Award. He’s only the second winner after compatriot Kevin De Bruyne, who mustered 16 assists in the 2017/18 season.
