West Indies v India match preview

The West Indies and India go head-to-head once more in their second T20 match of the series at the Providence Stadium.

A four run win for the West Indies in the opening match, thanks largely to captain Rovman Powell, who top scored with 48 runs off 32 balls, and Nicholas Pooran, who hit 41 off 34 deliveries, has set this series up nicely. India failed to chase the 149 that was set for them, finishing on 145-9 after openers Ishan Kishnan (6 from 9 deliveries) and Shubman Gill (3 from 9 deliveries) only managed nine runs between them.

Things were looking positive for India after two wickets apiece from Arshdeep Singh (2/31) and Yuzvendra Chahal (2/24) kept the West Indies score down, but things were not to be, with only Suryyakumar Yadav (21) and Tilak Varma (39) scoring more than 20 runs for the side.
