Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from their Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester United when they travel to Watford on Saturday.
The Blues saw a seven-game winning run across all competitions come to an end, but Frank Lampard’s men have won their past five Premier League matches.
Watford are also on a mini-unbeaten run in the league, drawing their past three games. That said, they remain rooted to the bottom of the table and awaiting their first league win of the season.

Ones to watch
Watford: Gerard Deulofeu
Watford have scored just five goals in the Premier League this season, fewer than any other club, and just one of those has come in their past five matches.
If the Hornets are to get at a Chelsea defence which certainly has its weaknesses, Quique Sanchez Flores’ men will need Gerard Deulofeu to be on his game.
The Spaniard has the ability to give the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta, Kurt Zouma, Fikayo Tomori and Marcos Alonso so problems with his pace and creativity, with Deulofeu setting up 15 chances for his teammates so far. However, he will need to improve in front of goal himself.
Key stat: No Premier League player has taken more shots than Gerard Deulofeu (24) this season without scoring.
Chelsea: Mason Mount
Chelsea’s attack was well dealt with by Manchester United’s three-man central defence on Wednesday, and the Blues will face a similar set up against basement club Watford this weekend.
But on Wednesday Chelsea did not have Mount for the majority of the game, with the English midfielder coming on for the final 20 minutes. He will be back in the team to face Watford and could be the key to victory for Lampard’s men.
The Englishman is Chelsea’s second-highest scorer in the league this season with four goals, but he has also been their creative hub whether playing centrally or on the wing, creating 19 chances so far.
Key stat: Mason Mount (19) has created more chances than any other Chelsea player in the Premier League.
Confirmed XI: Foster; Cathcart, Dawson, Kabasele, Janmaat; Doucouré, Chalobah, Masina; Deulofeu, Pereyra, Gray

Chelsea remain without Antonio Rudiger, N’Golo Kante, Ross Barkley, Andreas Christensen and Ruben Loftus-Cheek for their trip to Vicarage Road.
Emerson has come in at left-back while Christian Pulisic has kept his place in the starting line-up.
Confirmed XI: Arrizabalaga; Azpilicueta, Tomori, Zouma, Alonso; Kovacic, Jorginho; Pulisic, Mount, Willian; Abraham.
Although Chelsea were beaten at Stamford Bridge in midweek by Manchester United, the Blues are still on an impressive winning run away from home in all competitions, having emerged victorious in their past six matches on the road.
And despite drawing their past three games, Watford’s leaky defence may not be able to hold off Chelsea’s exciting attack – only Manchester City and Leicester City have scored more than the Blues in the Premier League.
Were this any other team, Chelsea may concede, but Watford’s less-than prolific goal record does not bode well for their fans.
Scoreline prediction: Watford 0-3 Chelsea
