Away from home, Sporting have won each of their three league trips so far this season, having scored twice in each of those games. Head-to-head, Sporting have won three of their last five league meetings with Vitória Guimarães, but only managed a 2-2 draw in their most recent trip to the Estadio D. Afonso Henriques.
