Ultimate QuaranTeam FIFA tournament schedule & favourites revealed
Last week, Leyton Orient invited 63 other clubs to take part in a FIFA 20 tournament named Ultimate QuaranTeam (restricted to teams included in the game, of course).
Spots were quickly filled, which resulted in Leyton Orient expanding the tournament to 128 teams, involving sides from around the world.
The 128 teams went into the hat and 64 matches were drawn live on Leyton Orient’s Twitter account. As the days went on, more clubs announced who will be representing them with a mixture of professional FIFA players and actual squad members getting involved.

FIFA Ultimate QuaranTeam overall favourites
With some of the clubs opting to use their official eSports teams or professional FIFA players to try and win the tournament, it will come as no surprise to see Manchester City as one of the favourites at 8/1.
The Citizens are being represented by one of their eSports players, Shellzz who is currently ranked 63rd in the world for PS4 on the FIFA 20 Global Series. They were drawn against Belgian club KV Kortrijk in the first round, winning 3-0.
Man City were joined by AS Roma as one of the faruvrites, who also boast their own eSports team consisting of professional players Damie, SpiderKong and Zelonius, but they recently lost 2-1 to Walsall.
Also high up the list are Championship clubs Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall. Shortly after their participation was confirmed, the Owls signed professional FIFA Player Delee.
Meanwhile, Millwall will be represented by professional Jamie O’Doherty, also known as FUTWIZ Jamie and ZerkaaHD, a YouTuber and part of the UK group The Sidemen, who built his name playing FIFA — both Millwall fans.
Tournament creators Leyton Orient, represented by goalkeeper Sam Sargeant, were 100/1 before play started and are already out, losing 3-6 to Lokomotiv Moscow.
A SportNation.bet spokesperson said: “The tournament is bringing together football fans in an unusual but fun way in the absence of real sport taking place.
“The tournament is perfect for punters in the absence of any live sport and we are already seeing a great deal of interest from customers.
“City being favourites in any competition is no shock and they are once again the team to beat alongside Italian giants AS Roma.”
