West Ham are reportedly weighing up a move for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah with Christian Eriksen linked with a shock return to Tottenham during the January Transfer Window.

Having offloaded Sebastien Haller to Ajax, the Hammers are on the hunt for a new striker with the Gunners youngster one of the options being considered.

Eriksen meanwhile, having been made surplus to requirements at Inter, could be heading back to London although reports suggest such a move could depend on Dele Alli joining Paris Saint-Germain this month.

Arsenal starlet Eddie Nketiah is on West Ham’s list of transfer targets this month.

With Sebastien Haller joining Ajax for £20m on Friday, David Moyes has been given the funds from that move to bring in more firepower.

Josh King and Boulaye Dia are also targets for the club but the Evening Standard report West Ham are keen to know whether the Gunners would be open to selling the 21-year-old, who has entered the final 18 months of his deal with the club.

The report claims negotiations over a loan move for the Croatia international are already underway.

A move for Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar is slipping down the pecking order at Arsenal, according to reports.

The Gunners were believed to have made at least one offer for the France international during the summer transfer window with Lyon standing firm in their valuation of their player, said to be £44m.

Arsenal went onto sign Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid but the club remain short of a creative spark in midfield, highlighted by the club’s technical director in early December.

But according to The Athletic, Aouar is no longer a priority with other players are now ahead of the Frenchman on the scouting list.
