Spezia will be looking for a third consecutive victory in Serie A when they travel to Torino on Saturday at 5pm (UK Time).

Torino have been struggling for consistency throughout this Serie A campaign and have been unable to find form. They were unbeaten in four league outings a couple of weeks ago, but then succumbed to back-to-back defeats against AC Milan in both Serie A and the Coppa Italia. Marco Giampaolo’s side currently sit 18th in the Serie A table, already two points behind 17th-placed Genoa. The only positive thing for Torino is their recent home form where they have only lost once in the last six matches.

Spezia also endured an awful run of results towards the end of 2020, but they have looked much better in the first two weeks of 2021. Vincenzo Italiano’s side have won their most recent games in Serie A against decent opposition, sealing successive victories over Napoli and Sampdoria. Those results have fired Spezia up to 14th in the standings with 17 points to their name and five points above the relegation zone. Away from home, the Little Eagles have only lost twice in their last eight games across all competitions and will therefore feel confident heading into this proverbial relegation six-pointer.

So, will Torino get back to winning ways after their two consecutive defeats against AC Milan? Or will Spezia secure a third victory in a row in Serie A?
