Roma can mathematically confirm their place in next season’s Europa League with a win over Torino on Wednesday at 8:45 PM.
I Giallorossi head to Turin on a run of six games without defeat, taking 16 points during that time to leave themselves sixth in the Serie A table; four and five points clear of Milan and Napoli respectively.
Torino, meanwhile, are just about safe from relegation in 16th place, although they have gone three games without a win and laboured to a disappointing 1-1 draw with bottom-of-the-league SPAL in their last match.
With that in mind, Paulo Fonseca will see this as a great chance to seal their European qualification spot with a game to spare.

Torino & Roma’s previous line-ups:
- Torino (vs SPAL): Sirigu; Izzo, N’Koulou, Bremer; Berenguer, Meite, Rincon*, Ansaldi; Zaza, Verdi, Belotti.
- Roma (vs Fiorentina): Lopez; Mancini, Smalling, Kolarov; Peres, Diawara, Veretout, Spinazzola; Mkhitaryan, Dzeko, Pellegrini*.
Tomas Rincon is suspended for the hosts while Lorenzo Di Silvestri and Daniele Baselli are both out with shoulder and knee injuries respectively.
Lorenzo Pellegrini will join the likes of Cengiz Under, Roger Ibanez, Antonio Mirante, Davide Santon and Juan Jesus on the sidelines after suffering a nose injury.
Player to watch: Edin Dzeko
Despite being 34 years old, Edin Dzeko continues to play a key role in the Roma attack, netting another 15 goals in Serie A alone this season and contributing well to the all-round play of Fonseca’s side.
Even now, enduring a run of just one goal in his last eight outings, Dzeko has still managed to notch three assists during that time, taking his total for the season to seven in the league — the highest number of any Roma player available to start against Torino.
With two games to go, Dzeko will want to go out on a high and push his total as close to 20 goals as possible.
Scoreline prediction: Torino 0-2 Roma
