Szczesny backs Ramsey to succeed at Juventus
Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has backed Aaron Ramsey to succeed in Turin when he arrives from Arsenal.
With injury ruling him out for the rest of the season, Ramsey has played his last game for Arsenal having signed a pre-contract agreement with the Italian champions.

And Szczesny, a former Arsenal player himself, believes the Wales international is “one of the best”, backing him to be a success in Italy.
“When he’s fit, he’s one of the best and he’ll give us a big hand in achieving our objectives,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Szczesny also feels Ramsey’s defensive capabilities are that strong that he could move out of midfield to fill in at right-back if required.

He added: “Whether he plays as a midfielder or number ten depends on the new coach. For me, he can also play at right-back, since he defends very well.
“Ramsey asked me what happened with Allegri, although in any case, he would’ve started working with a new coach.”
Szczesny: If Juve call, you can only say yes
The decision to leave Arsenal after spending 11 years in north London can’t have been an easy one but Szczesny has now revealed how he helped Ramsey make the choice.
In fact, the Poland international admitted telling Ramsey he had an “easy” choice to make as it was Juve calling.
“We talked to each other a couple of times before he signed for Juventus. He asked me for some advice,” Szczesny said.
“I told him: ‘It’s easy. If Juve call you, you can only say yes’. That’s how it went and it means Aaron listens to me.
“He’s had five months to prepare and he’s already picked up a little bit [of Italian]. When I took him to dinner, he said more than just a ‘hello’.
“He partly understood me and that’s a good basis to work from. I’ll take care of the rest to give him a hand.”
