The State Farm Stadium — home to the Arizona Cardinals — is the venue for one of the world’s greatest sporting occasions.

Having both entered the postseason as top seeds of their respective conferences with hugely impressive 14-3 records, the two franchises have remained true to form to set up what promises to be a mouth-watering clash.

This is extremely familiar territory for the Chiefs, who are making their third Super Bowl appearance in the space of four years.

Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes enjoyed a record-breaking regular season in which he registered 5,614 offensive yards. And despite battling an ankle problem, he helped his franchise to narrow victories over the Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals in the playoffs.

By contrast, the Eagles are set to appear in NFL’s biggest game for only the third time, doing so most recently five years ago when they defeated Tom Brady’s New England Patriots.

Led by Jalen Hurts, they have blitzed through the postseason with dominant victories over the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers, and will be desperate not to lose that momentum on the biggest stage of all.
