Ones to watch:
Gegam Kadimyan has scored in each of his last two games for Grodno – including in a 3-1 defeat to BATE last time out – and remains joint-top of the Belarus Premier League scoring charts so far with four goals. Despite their table position of 11th, Ruh Brest have conceded fewer goals (3) than any other side in the division so far, so Kadimyan will need to be at his sharpest in front of goal.
While Ruh Brest have only conceded three goals, they’ve also only scored three times as well – the fewest in the division alongside Smolevichy-STI – with each of those strikes coming from different players, two of them defenders.
With an impressive goalscoring record in the Portuguese lower leagues, Senegalese forward Abdoulaye Diallo was supposed to be the man to deliver the goals this season, although that hasn’t transpired so far. Could a trip to struggling Neman be just what he needs to find his feet in the 18-yard box?
Neman Grodno vs Ruh Brest team news:
Georgian defender Giorgi Kantaria has been sidelined with food poisoning and is likely to miss out for Neman again here, while Maksim Yablonski and Pavel Tsesliukevch are both injured.
Nigerian midfielder Chidi Osuchukwu is out with a muscle injury, while Oleksiy Kovtun is also a doubt. However, Ruh Brest can welcome back Sergey Tikhonovsky and Denis Grechikho from suspension.
