Roma can strengthen their hold on a Europa League group stage spot when they host Verona on Wednesday night (8:45pm).
I Giallorossi are currently fifth in Serie A, eight points ahead of eighth-placed Sassuolo with six games remaining and on course for the group stage as things stand. However, just four points separate Roma and AC Milan in seventh, the difference between a group stage spot or having to enter the qualifying round should Napoli remain in the top six.
Roma have a tough run of fixtures coming up including games against Inter Milan and Juventus but first must host a Verona side who still hold an outside chance of qualifying for the Europa League. Verona are ninth as things stand, six points behind AC Milan, a position not many would have expected them to be in after their promotion via the play-offs last year. Ivan Juric deserves much credit for his work this season.

Neither side has any fresh absentees following their previous matches, but Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Bryan Cristante are back for Roma after serving suspensions.
Player to watch:
He missed out the win over Brescia through suspension, but Henrikh Mkhitaryan should return to the Roma side on Wednesday and continue his fine run of form.
The Armenian has spent the season on loan at Roma from Premier League side Arsenal but initially endured a tough start to life in Italy. Struggling with injury problems, Mkhitaryan managed just nine appearances between the start of the campaign and the first week of February, though he still managed to score three times and record one assist. Despite the start, Mkhitaryan had previously spoken of his happiness in Italy, having a fresh start after losing his love for football while in England.
And since his return from injury in February, either side of Serie A’s break, Mkhitaryan has been in excellent form, creating speculation over a permanent move to Roma. In a run of nine consecutive starts Mkhitaryan has been directly involved in eight goals for Roma, scoring five and adding three assists, more than any other player at the club during that time. Prior to his suspension, Mkhitaryan had scored in his previous two matches and will be looking to make it three in a row in the league for the first time since October 2012 with Shakhtar Donetsk.
