Rennes will be looking to keep their Champions League quest going when they host St Etienne in Ligue 1 on Saturday at 8pm (UK time).
Bruno Genesio’s men currently occupy the final Champions League qualification spot with four games left to play, but things are so close. Rennes are only ahead of fourth-placed Monaco on goal difference and sit just three points clear of Strasbourg in sixth, a position outside of the European places.
Things are almost as tight at the bottom of the table, with St-Etienne currently in the relegation play-off spot, four points clear of Bordeaux in the automatic drop zone and only four points behind 14th-placed Angers.
