Who are the favourites to go down?
Newly promoted Norwich City are currently the bookmaker’s favourites to be relegated in the 2021/22 season. Daniel Farke’s side got their hands on the Championship trophy just a few weeks ago but they have already become the early favourites to go straight back down next season.
Norwich do not have a great recent record in the Premier League. Following their last two promotions to the Premier League, the Canaries have gone straight back down on both occasions.
Other contenders for relegation
Watford earned their spot back in the Premier League having gone down in 2020 alongside Norwich. The Hornets finished second in the Championship by some way but it proved enough to avoid the play-offs and return to the English top-flight through the automatic promotion spot.
However, it appears they are not fancied by the bookmakers to maintain their Premier League status beyond the 2021/22 campaign. It appears it will be a big summer for Xisco Muñoz with the odds stacked against them to survive the drop.

To Finish In The Top 10 Odds
Although the Premier League has proven to consist of the typical ‘big six’ clubs taking up 6/10 spots in the top half of the table, the likes of Leeds United have shown it is possible for unexpected sides to break into the top half. Wolves have also shown it is possible to break into the top 10 in the past, but will there be another unexpected surprise to do so next season?
