With 2019 drawing to a close, it has been another year of epic individual performances in the Premier League.

Manchester City dazzled in the second half of last season as Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering juggernaut secured a domestic treble, while this season, Liverpool remain unbeaten in their quest to end a 30-year top-flight title drought.

Leicester City have been equally as impressive under Brendan Rodgers, proving defensively formidable but also devastating and cut-throat in the final third, with Jamie Vardy enjoying a fine run of form.

The former England international was in the running for the November award, thanks to his goalscoring heroics across the month, with the fleet-footed forward currently leading the Golden Boot race (16).

In fact, only Lionel Messi (33) has scored more goals than Vardy (28) in 2019 across Europe’s top five divisions, showing just how prolific the Foxes forward has been since the turn of the year.

However, it is not just the 32-year-old who has impressed in the Premier League since the beginning of 2019, with a number of individuals putting in key and eye-catching performances.

With that considered, can you name every 2019 Premier League player of the month in the correct chronological order? You’ll have to cast your minds back to last January…
