Another Double Gameweek rolls into view as Leeds and Southampton prepare to play twice over the coming five days.

Whether you’re weighing up using your Wildcard, Free Hit, or simply want to take a punt on one or two of our suggestions, we’ve pulled together an 11-man team of players you should be considering for Double Gameweek 25. Our captaincy suggestion this week is Stuart Dallas.

Opta’s stats power the FPL game and help steer the Sky Bet market so what better way to figure out how to build your squad this week? Be warned, Friday’s deadline is at 18:30 ahead of Leeds’ trip to Wolves (20:00 kick-off).

Robert Sanchez: Brighton have kept five clean sheets in their last six matches and face a Palace side who rank 18th in the league for penalty area entries this season. Brighton to win 1-0 is a price boost 11/2.

FPL defence

Luke Shaw: Shaw has four assists in his last three matches and has created more big chances (7) than any of his United team-mates bar Bruno Fernandes. Shaw to score any time is 14/1.

Stuart Dallas: Of the defenders on FPL, Only Aaron Cresswell has more attacking returns than Dallas’ seven this season. A Double Gameweek coupled with his advanced position in Marcelo Bielsa’s system mean the Leeds man is unavoidable. Dallas to score first is 12/1.

Joao Cancelo: City have nine clean sheets in 12 Premier League fixtures ahead of this weekend’s trip to Arsenal. Cancelo is the biggest attacking threat in Pep Guardiola’s defence, taking 23 shots and creating 34 chances this season. Cancelo to score any time is 10/1.

Lewis Dunk: Brighton have favourable fixtures against Crystal Palace and then West Brom in their next two Gameweeks. Dunk has more goals (3) and more shots on target (9) than any of his defensive colleagues this season. Dunk to score a header is a price boost 15/2.

Lewis Dunk

Raphinha: The 24-year-old is the form man in the Leeds midfield heading into a Double Gameweek. Raphinha has two goals and four assists in his last five matches and has not score fewer than five points in an FPL Gameweek since January 16. Raphinha to score first against Wolves is 9/1.

Kevin De Bruyne: The Belgium international returned from injury with a cameo appearance at Everton. Despite a lengthy absence, he has provided more assists, taken more shots, and created more chances than any of his City colleagues this term. De Bruyne to score first is 5/1.

James Ward-Prowse: Southampton’s set-piece specialist has five goals and five assists this term and heads into a Double Gamewek against Chelsea then Leeds. He is Ralph Hassenhuttl’s biggest creator of chances this season (36). Ward-Prowse to score from outside the box is a price boost 11/1.

Bruno Fernandes: Only Leicester have scored more penalties than Manchester United this season, with Fernandes dispatching six from the spot. He averages 9 FPL points per match across the last four Gameweeks and faces an out-of-form Newcastle this weekend. Fernandes to score from outside the box is 5/1.

Bruno Fernandes

Danny Ings: Back on the goal trail against Wolves and facing a double-header in Gameweek 25. He has more shots (38), more goals (8) and more big chances converted (5) than any of his team-mates. Ings to score first is 5/1.

Patrick Bamford: The Leeds man has shot up by 1.4 on FPL this season and is arguably still good value at 6.9. He has scored 12 and assisted a further eight this term, bringing in 16 bonus points across the campaign. Another candidate for the armband. Bamford to score first and either Leeds to win 2-1 or Leeds to win 3-1 is 22/1.

Who’s it time to get rid of/avoid?

Ilkay Gundogan: The Manchester City man suffered a groin injury in the win over Tottenham and looks set to miss this weekend’s action.

Bukayo Saka: Arsenal’s next four fixtures include matches against Man City, Leicester and Tottenham.
