Premier League 2022/23 full fixture list: Every game and kick-off time revealed so far for next season’s schedule

The fixtures for the 2022/23 Premier League season have been released.

Manchester City are the defending champions and will be seeking to win a third championship on the bounce. Out to stop them will be Liverpool while Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal plus an Erik ten Hag-led Manchester United should be part of the chasing pack.

Fulham, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest — back after 23 years away from the big time — are the newly-promoted crew and will be determined not to make this a brief stay. So who is playing who in the first weekend and when are the biggest clashes going to happen? Read on to see the Premier League 2022/23 fixture schedule.

When does the 2022/23 season start?

Due to the World Cup in Qatar, which will take place in the middle of the domestic calendar, the Premier League has been brought forward.

The opening weekend is set to start on Saturday, 6 August 2022.

When does the 2022/23 season stop for the World Cup?

The 2022 World Cup kicks off on Monday, 21 November 2022 with the first match between Group A rivals Senegal and the Netherlands.

As such, matchday 16 is set to be the final round of 2022/23 Premier League fixtures before the division halts for the World Cup.

Those last set of fixtures are set to be played over the weekend of 12-13 November.

The Premier League will restart on Boxing Day following the World Cup final, which takes place on Sunday, 18 December 2022.

When does the 2022/23 season finish?

The final matchday is scheduled to be played on Sunday, 28 May 2023, with all games set to kick off simultaneously as usual.
