Porto vs Moreirense build-up & previous line-ups:
Following the conclusion of matchday five only four Portuguese top-flight clubs remained unbeaten. The most surprising member of this quartet are newly-promoted Estoril but the other three are the usual suspects. Benfica lead the championship with a perfect record while title holders Sporting are level on points with Porto who head into this weekend’s game seeking a return to successful ways. Sérgio Conceição’s men began the 2021/22 season with consecutive wins over Belenenses and Famalicão before Marítimo held them to a 1-1 draw. They recovered by running out 3-0 winners over Arouca but last time out against the aforementioned champions in the nation’s capital O Dragões snatched a point from the jaws of defeat.
Things couldn’t be more different for Moreirense who find themselves sitting a place above the bottom three after the opening five rounds. João Henriques’s side are yet to register a win this season which is an unwanted statistic they share with bottom two Famalicão and Belenenses heading into this latest round of fixtures. The Men from Moreira de Cónegos began their campaign at home against Benfica only to suffer a 1-2 loss. They recovered well against Santa Clara next time out courtesy of a André Luís’ 90th minute equaliser. But the following round Moreirense drew against Braga. Since then it’s been consecutive draws with Belenenses and Famalicão.

Player to watch: Luis Díaz (Porto)
After five league appearances this season multifunctional Porto midfielder Luis Díaz is halfway to matching his best tally in a single campaign. The 24-year-old Colombian international joined the Portuguese giants from Junior FC two summers ago subsequently netting six goals in his debut season. He would match that figure the following year and now heading into matchday six Díaz has netted on three occasions including last time out against champions Sporting, his 71st minute strike earned Conceição’s team a hard-fought point, especially as they finished that game with ten men. Díaz also comes into this game having netted twice across his previous four league outings against Moreirense albeit those efforts came during the 2019/20 season.
