This will be the 16th such meeting between Porto and Tondela with the former winning 13 showdowns including their only previous Taça clash in December 2020, back then Conceição’s side ran out 2-1 winners at Estádio do Dragão, on that day Mehdi Taremi and Moussa Marega scored either side of Tondela midfielder João Mendes.
